Proof that a person wrote the book.
VerifiedHumanWritten.com is a public record of books written by real humans. A badge on the cover and a QR code inside the book lead readers to the evidence.
How it works
- 1
Written where it is recorded
The book is written in a writing platform that records the work as it happens: the writing days, the revisions and the time of every save. Nothing is reconstructed afterward.
- 2
Certified
When the record meets the certification standard and the author declares that they wrote the book themselves, the book receives a certificate, a badge and a QR code.
- 3
Checked by anyone
Readers scan the QR code printed in the book, or open the link on the badge, and see the book’s public record.
What a record shows
Every certified book has a permanent public record. It shows the evidence, not just a claim.
- When the book was written, and on how many days
- How much writing and revision went into it
- The editions certified, each with its file fingerprint (SHA-256)
- Timestamps from independent timestamp authorities (RFC 3161)
- The author’s declaration of human authorship
“Trustless” verification
The record is stamped every writing day by independent timestamp authorities, and it cannot be changed afterward without detection. A reader’s browser can check those timestamps itself.
Each certified edition carries a fingerprint of its file, so anyone holding the book can confirm it is the edition that was certified.
Look up a book
Search the registry by title, author or certificate ID to see whether a book is certified and open its record.
The badge and the QR code
Certified authors receive the badge for covers, copyright pages, websites and marketing, as SVG, PNG and PDF files for print and screen. The QR code goes inside the book and opens that book’s record.
